Ordering

How do I order?

Every order starts with a quote. Build a quote on this website, or call us toll-free at 1-800-670-5003 or write to pedidos@baja.supply with the products and the number of pails. We reply by email or phone with your prices and terms. When you accept the quote, our team confirms your order.

Why aren't prices shown?

We price each order for each customer. Prices appear only on your quote and on the documents of your order.

Is there a minimum order?

No. Order any number of pails and pieces. A pallet holds 36 pails; the quote builder shows, for reference, how many pallets your order fills.

Can I mix products on a pallet?

Yes. A pallet holds 36 pails in any mix of our products, for example 18 pails of PAPALOTE™, 12 of SIESTA™ and 6 of CAZUELA™.

How many pails fit on a truck?

A full truckload is 26 pallets: 936 pails. The counter in the quote builder shows your pails, your pallets and how full the truck is.

How do I pay?

Payment terms are set for each account and stated on every quote. No payment is collected on this website.

Do I need an account to ask for a quote?

No. Anyone can send a quote request. If you plan to buy regularly, apply to become a customer so we can set your payment terms and keep your resale certificate on file.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

In California, Nevada and Arizona. Give us the delivery city and ZIP code when you ask for a quote.

When will my order arrive?

After you accept the quote, our team confirms the delivery day with you. If you need the products by a certain date, tell us when you send your request.

What should I tell you about receiving?

Your receiving hours, whether deliveries need an appointment, and whether you have a loading dock or need a liftgate. The quote request has a field for this.

Products

What size are the pails?

Every product comes in a 19 L pail with lid, with net contents of 5 US gallons (18.9 L).

Who makes the products?

They're made in Mexico from the manufacturer's own formulas, then filled and labeled in Mexico. Baranta International Trade Solutions LLC, d/b/a Baja Supply, imports and distributes them.

How do the varieties of a line differ?

All the varieties of a line share one formula and the same directions. They differ in scent and color, and two PAPALOTE™ varieties are made for dark clothes (NEGRO PROFUNDO) or white clothes (BLANCO RADIANTE).

Are the products colored with dyes?

Most varieties are. Each ingredient page names the dyes in that product, such as Acid Blue 9, Tartrazine or Rhodamine B, and the color chip on each product shows the color of the liquid. TRANQUILO and TRANQUILA are dye-free.

How much product do I use?

Follow the directions on the label; each product page shows them as printed. In short: PAPALOTE™, about 1/2 cup (120 mL) per machine load; SIESTA™, 1/2 cup (120 mL) diluted in water, in the final rinse; CAZUELA™, 1 tablespoon (15 mL) in a sink of warm water.

Can I use CAZUELA™ in a dishwasher?

No. CAZUELA™ is a hand dishwashing liquid, and its label says “Not for automatic dishwashers.”

Labels and lot codes

Why is the label in English?

The product label is printed in English. The pail's drowning warning is printed in English and Spanish, and on this website every product page is in both languages.

Where is the lot code, and how do I read it?

It's on the product label, after the word LOT, near MADE IN MEXICO. In a code such as 26278-LD, 26 is the year (2026), 278 is the day of the year, and the letters name the formula: LD laundry detergent, FS fabric softener, DS dish soap. LT and FT are used for TRANQUILO and TRANQUILA. Type the code in the lot lookup to see the label printed for that lot.

Why does each pail have a second warning label?

California requires a drowning warning on 4- to 6-gallon pails like ours, so every pail carries one, in English and Spanish, with a pictogram. That label has its own lot code; the product's lot code is on the product label.

Ingredients and safety

Where do I find the Safety Data Sheet?

Each product page and ingredient page links to its Safety Data Sheet, and all of them are at baja.supply/sds. There is one SDS for each formula: laundry detergent, fabric softener and dish soap. When a sheet is revised, earlier revisions stay available. The SDS are in English.

What does the ingredients page show?

California's Cleaning Product Right to Know Act (SB 258) asks makers of cleaning products to publish their ingredients online. For each product, baja.supply/ingredients shows the ingredient statement from its label, then every ingredient by weight with its CAS number and function, the fragrance allergens and colorants, the designated chemical lists they appear on, the California warning and the Safety Data Sheet. You can print it on one page or download it as JSON or CSV.

What does “Contains fragrance allergen(s)” mean?

Under SB 258, a label carries this statement when the product contains a fragrance allergen at 100 ppm (0.01 %) or more. Each product's ingredient page shows its fragrance information.

Why does the label carry a California cancer warning?

California's Proposition 65 requires a warning when a product can expose people to a chemical on the state's list. All three of our formulas contain formaldehyde, used as a preservative, and PAPALOTE™ laundry detergent also contains cocamide DEA, a foam booster. The CA WARNING on each label names them. Each ingredient page marks every ingredient and colorant on the Proposition 65 list, and our Proposition 65 page explains more.

What if someone is exposed to a product?

Follow the FIRST AID directions on the label and call Poison Help at 1-800-222-1222 or a doctor. Each product's Safety Data Sheet has more detail.

Storage and empty pails

How should I store the pails?

Keep each pail closed and upright in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat, and out of reach of children. Don't mix the products with other chemicals. Spills make floors slippery; rinse small spills with plenty of water. PAPALOTE™ and CAZUELA™ keep for up to 12 months in the closed original pail under these conditions.

What do I do with empty pails?

Rinse empty pails with water before recycling or disposal, and don't reuse them for food or drinking water. Dispose of unused product according to local, state and federal regulations.

Resale certificates

Do I need a seller's permit or a resale certificate?

If you buy our products to resell them, give us the resale certificate of the state where we deliver: in California, form CDTFA-230 (or an equivalent document) with your California seller's permit number; in Nevada, the Nevada Resale Certificate with your Nevada seller's permit number; in Arizona, Form 5000A with your Arizona TPT license number. One blanket certificate can cover all your purchases. We ask for it before your first invoice and keep it on file. You can enter your seller's permit number when you send a quote request or apply to become a customer.
